What is the price of each item?

Prices are shown in € with and without taxes (Value Added Tax). For sales within the EU, Value Added Tax is based on 23% (Portuguese rate) but will be adjusted at checkout based on the delivery country. For sales outside the EU, the prices applied are excluding taxes; taxes and duties may apply in the destination country.

Can I cancel my order?

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled or modified. We ask you to pay close attention when placing your order, as it is a firm commitment to purchase and cannot be changed.

Right of withdrawal:

We reserve the right to cancel any order without notice if we believe that the goods are not being purchased for personal use.

Is it possible to combine my orders?

It is not possible to combine orders because of our logistics process.

Can I order by email or phone?

We do not take orders by email or phone.

Is it possible to reserve an item?

It is not possible to reserve an item.

Will my favorite item be back in stock?

We work with low stock for each item and usually have limited restocking because of the nature of our production - slow with long delivery times, sustainable, and handmade. However, we are occasionally able to restock certain pieces in small quantities if we have enough fabric left.

If you want to be alerted when an item goes live, simply go to the product page and add it to your wishlist. You will receive an email notification as soon as the item is available again.

Don't forget to check our list of retailers - they may have items in stock that we are sold out of!

 

Payments

We accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX) as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay… Except Paypal.

All your order and payment data is transmitted in encrypted form via the SSL protocol, from your computer to the electronic payment terminal of our banking partner. A closed padlock, the symbol of security, appears at the bottom of the page. You can therefore pay online with complete peace of mind; no data is stored.

You can also send us a bank transfer to the account number sent to you in the confirmation email. This payment method will delay shipping slightly.


Shipping

Do you ship worldwide?

We ship worldwide (with a few exceptions) and exclusively offer premium DHL and FedEx services, depending on the destination and shipping type.

We subsidize part of the cost of this express courier service, but acknowledge that the cost is still higher than standard EMS postal rates. However, this courier service provides the added assurance of fast delivery thanks to its use of a Bien-developed tracking system. The service provides accurate and frequent information on the location of customers' goods throughout the delivery cycle, which standard postal delivery services do not offer.

You can choose the delivery method available in your country when placing your order. Bonjour reserves the right to change the carrier chosen by the client (DHL or Fedex) provided that the service offered is identical.

We are confident that the "Express" shipping option will give everyone peace of mind.

Can I change the delivery address?

Unfortunately, it is impossible to change the delivery address of an order once it has been placed. We recommend checking the address before confirming your order, and regularly making sure that the address saved in your account is up to date.

If you change your delivery address in your personal space after placing an order, the new address will only be taken into account starting with the next order.

Please contact your local DHL / FedEx office with your tracking number to see if it is still possible to change the delivery address. If the address is incorrect or incomplete, your parcel will be returned to the sender.

Delivery times

Shipping delays caused by carriers are unfortunately beyond our control. In the event of a delay, please check the status of your order using the tracking number sent to you in the shipping confirmation email. However, if the shipping status has not been updated for a week, please let us know via the contact form or directly by email at bonjour.e.choppe@gmail.com, and we will file a claim with the carrier.

Taxes and import duties

When do I have to pay customs duties?

For shipments outside the European Union, your order may occasionally be temporarily held by customs for clearance.

This may result in customs duties, which will be communicated to you either directly by customs or upon receipt of your parcel. Customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Bonjour cannot be held responsible for these charges.

 

For South Korea, you can enter your personal customs number at checkout.

 

 

We do not provide a certificate of origin, but the commercial invoice attached to the shipment includes the origin of each item and the legal statements that allow preferential customs duties depending on the destination.



Returns

How many days do I have to return an item?

Full-price items can be returned within 10 days of the delivery date. Please email us to get approval within 10 days.

Products must be returned unused and unwashed, with the original tags.

 

Are returns free?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a tracked or signed-for service, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost parcels.

 

What is the return process for items?

To request the return of an item, send us an email at bonjour.e.choppe@gmail.com within 10 days of receiving the item, stating your order number and "Return" in the subject line.

Once we have sent you an email confirming your return, the goods must be sent back to the address provided within 5 business days of the email confirmation (postmark date applies).

Return parcels must always clearly state "Return to sender - Children's clothing" for customs purposes.

It is the sender's responsibility to complete the customs documents correctly. Incorrectly labeled returns may result in incorrect duties or Value Added Tax upon re-importation. If Bonjour is wrongly charged to receive returned goods, this amount will be deducted from the value of the client's return.

 

What are the refund conditions?

Please note that we only accept returns for purchases made on our own website - www.bonjour-e-shop.com.

We do not accept returns when the original order was sent to the address of a transport company rather than to a personal residential address.

If the products are returned in a condition suitable for resale, we will offer you a full refund for the products (minus the original shipping costs).

 

Return instructions:

The money will be refunded to the original payment method within 2 business days after we receive the return. (Please note that it may take an additional 3 to 4 business days for the refund to appear in your account, in line with standard banking delays).

 

Defective items:

We make sure you do not receive a defective item, but in the unlikely event that this happens, please email us with a description of the issue and clear photos.

We will do our best to resolve the issue quickly.

You will receive an exchange if possible, or a full refund to your original payment method, and you will also be refunded shipping costs.

Please note that due to the handmade nature of our pieces, differences will appear from one piece to another and no item is exactly the same. These differences are not defects.

Sizing

Our styles fit true to size. You can check the measurement charts available on the product pages.

 

Garment care

We strongly recommend following the washing instructions on the care label of all garments.

Because of the intricate nature of the embroidery, it will be best preserved if carefully hand washed and line dried. Since hand washing is not always possible, you can occasionally machine wash the garments at a low temperature, but this will increase wear on the garment.

Always separate dark colors.

 

Handmade craftsmanship

Due to the handcrafted nature of Bonjour clothing, no two items are identical.

Whether it is our precious hand finishes or hand-guided machine embroidery, differences will appear between pieces.

Natural fabrics may have irregularities, patterned fabrics may align differently from one piece to another, and embroidered motifs may vary slightly in size and position.

All of this is part of the beauty of garments made slowly and sustainably from natural materials.

 

Environment

Fabrics:

The vast majority of our fabrics are cotton. More and more are certified organic cotton. This is mentioned in the product description where applicable. All fabrics are laboratory tested and comply with current REACH standards: the European Union regulation adopted to better protect human health and the environment from risks related to chemical substances. Suppliers and service providers:

Our garments are assembled in Sedex certified factories in India and in facilities in Portugal that comply with European regulations. All first-tier suppliers commit to respecting our specifications, which also reflect our values of eco-responsibility.
